TOUR program
Day 1 (2nd July 2009)
After late heavy breakfast, you will be picked by staff/guide/driver of Octopus Hospitality, from Entebbe’s taxi park. Proceed to Nakiwogo pier where MV Kalangala shall be docked ready for departure; The sail meanders through a string of amongst 84 islands that make up the Ssese archipelago or Kalangala District, the journey on Lake Victoria (called Nalubaale by the Islanders meaning the home of the ‘gods’ is also home to the 2nd biggest fresh waters in the World after lake Superior in North America) takes about 3 hours to the main port of Lutoboka.
Check in at Hornbill campsite, refreshments, games, FISH and camp fire.
Day 2 (3rd July 2009)
Early morning set off to Kalangala’s main town, a 20 minute walk from the Lutoboka shore line Hornbill campsite. Breakfast at the exclusive Ssese Habitat resort overlooking the pier and the beach stretch.
Nature’s walk in tropical forest with velvet monkeys, heading towards the
Kalaya caves: the well-regarded Islanders (Bassese) source of divine power.
Visit the Kalaya caves with the celebrity guide Islander, Quassim, and learn all about the Islands: ancestry, history, habits and cultures.
After lunch relax (hammock) at Pearl Gardens Beach: engage in and enjoy games like; Volley ball, soccer, badminton, boat riding, swimming plus water and sand games.
Later as the evening approaches look out for the GOLDEN SUNSET- the reason for calling Ssese “Islands in the Sun”. BBQ drink campfire at Hornbill camp.
Day 3 (4th July 2009)
Waterday: chill out at the 1,000 meter white sand stretch at the Lutoboka pier,
Experience the exciting Sand Massage (sand-therapy).
Swimming in the cleanest and purest Victoria basin waters, Boat riding with life jackets.
Volley ball, soccer, badminton.
Personal reflection
Enjoy music, drinks at the campfire and BBQ.
Day 4 (5th July 2009)
Breakfast on ferry while enjoying the Victorian Breeze,
Once in the Entebbe peninsula learn and enjoy steamed lunch, African traditional food, at Mindset Development Organization

Costing:
The total cost of the whole 4 days, is 250,000 per person.
Cost Include the following:
All meals and accommodation,
Experienced Island guide,
All ferry transport fees,
All activities while on TOUR: boat riding and games
EXCLUDED ARE:
Alcoholic Drinks, cigars, phone calls and any other services of personal nature like laundry.
